M-Trac Cymru was founded in 2005 to supply a niche in the market for excellence in repair, service and supply of agricultural machinery to our local customers and beyond.
The foundation of our business has always been quality of service to our customers. The business is managed by its owners, thus ensuring close personal contact with our customers. Our staff always endeavours to provide you with the highest standards of friendly and reliable service.
From humble beginnings, only as far back as 2005, Medwyn Ellis trading as M-Trac Cymru has grown into a successful business and now to become a CASE IH dealership is definitely our biggest achievement to date.
Medwyn being from a farming background himself has established the business just over 3 years ago with the aim of providing all customers with a high-quality service. His knowledge of the needs in farming has helped establish the business as one of the leaders in the area..
Medwyn has worked in the agricultural sector for well over 10 years, and first worked locally for a dealer and commercially, he completed his apprenticeship with Coleg Menai where he qualified with distinction as a Diesel Mechanic.
Medwyn continued to work locally for a number of different companies to gain experience before deciding to move to Ireland in 1999 where he lived for just over 2 years, he worked and gained more experience with a Massey Ferguson dealer.
He continued to challenge himself and he and his partner Jennifer both decided to take a big step in gaining more experience in their fields, before they open their own business. They both moved to Australia in 2001 where they lived for over 4½ years. Both worked with John Deere in the harshest part of the world on some of the biggest machinery and farms in the country.
Jennifer worked within the same company in the warranty, invoicing and accounts side of the business and she was able to take this knowledge and expertise back to North Wales where the life long dream was to open their own garage and become a dealership for one of the big names in the Agricultural Industry is now a reality. All the hard work and dedication is starting to pay off.
In May 2007 we employed our first member of staff. This was a very exciting time for us as a new business. Brian Moncur with his wealth of experience and tractor knowledge came on board to work in the Parts showroom. Brian has proved to be a huge asset to the business and has helped make M-Trac Cymru a more established business.
In December 2007 we employed Richard Jones a qualified and experienced mechanic in his field. He has taken on all the new challenges of repair and service of agricultural machinery that has been thrown at him. Richard has proved to be a great benefit to the expanding workshop and repairs and service can be turned around a lot quicker as a result.
